The number of exercise repetitions/sets are just a suggestion and should be adjusted, as needed, to fit your fitness level and tolerance.
Some of these exercises can be performed in both sitting and standing. It is up to you to determine which position is best and safest for you. If you feel you need further and/or individual instruction on an exercise program, please consult with a local physical or occupational therapist.
Again, as with any exercise program, you need to consult with your doctor prior to starting. If you experience pain or the increase in pain during any exercise, stop immediately and consult with your doctor.
