9. Super Hero

In this video Cindy is demonstrating the "Super Hero" exercise. This is a general exercise for balance, coordination, strengthening and general movement of the arms and legs. This exercise will be done in standing.

Breaking it Down


  • In standing, start with the arms crossed across your chest, palms facing you
  • Straighten you arms down and back, ending with palms of hands facing back


  • Step forward then back with one leg
  • Repeat on the opposite side

Putting it all together - combine arm/leg movements for an increased challenge of coordination and balance 

  • Step forward with one leg as you extend your arms down and back to your sides
  • Step back as you bring your arms back across your chest

Perform 5 reps on each leg
