My name is Cindy, I am a physical therapist with Adaptive Equipment Corner. We would like to welcome you to the "Pick Your Fit" video series.
In this video series, we are going to continue to expand on the sets of exercises that we include in order to offer you a wide variety of exercises for strengthening, balance, stretching and coordination.
As with any exercise program, you need to consult with your doctor prior to starting. If during exercise you have the onset of pain or an increase in pain, stop immediately and consult with your doctor.
The number of exercise repetitions/sets mentioned throughout this series in writing or verbally are just a suggestion and should be adjusted, as needed, to fit your fitness level and tolerance.
If you feel you need further and/or individual instruction on an exercise program, please consult with a local physical or occupational therapist.
We all know staying active is a part of maintaining our health and function.
Always remember, it doesn't matter where you start....just get started!!
