In this video Becca, OT is introducing the Stretch For Success exercise set. In this set we will include stretching exercises for your arms, legs, neck and back in a seated position.
As with any exercise program, you need to consult with your doctor prior to starting. If during exercise you have the onset of pain or an increase in pain, stop immediately and consult with your doctor.
Each of these exercises will be broken down individually for instruction and them we will put them all together at the end.
Some of these exercises can be performed in both sitting and standing. It is up to you to determine which position and how much support with standing exercises is best and safest for you.
The number of exercise repetitions are just a suggestion and should be adjusted, as needed, to fit your fitness level and tolerance.
