Stretch 3 - Overhead Reach

In this video Becca is demonstrating the Overhead Reach.  This stretch focuses on your shoulders, trunk and hips.

  • Sit up nice and tall, feet flat on the floor
  • Raise both hands up toward the ceiling, really reaching for the ceiling
  • Next,  bend at your waist/hips reaching down to your toes
  • Repeat reaching up then back down as tolerated 10-15 times
  • If you can't reach your toes, try reaching for your lower legs
  • For additional low back support, place your hands on your thighs, sliding your hands down your legs as you bend forward and up your legs as you come back up
