Stretch 9 - Hamstrings

In this video Becca is demonstrating a Hamstring Stretch.  This stretch focuses on the hamstring muscles on the back of your thigh.

  • Scoot toward the front of your chair (use caution not to sit too far forward)
  • Extend your right leg out in front of you, resting on your heel
  • Bend forward at the waist, reaching toward your lower leg/toes until you feel a gentle stretch at the back of your thigh
  • Hold for a count of 4-5
  • Return to sitting upright
  • Repeat on your left leg
  • Perform 2-3 repetitions on each side as tolerated
