Wide, clear pathways
Remove or secure throw rugs, area rugs and cords
Room is well lit, light switches accessible and easily visible
Thresholds are in good shape and visible
Clear pathway to "comfy" chair
"Comfy" chair height is appropriate-too low, does it rock or swivel?
Command Central- having frequently used items easily and safely within reach: TV control, phone, light, drink
