Here are a few things to consider regarding safety in the bedroom:
Clear pathways -wide enough for walker/wheelchair, may need to move furniture
Lighting- well lit pathways, especially at night from bed to bathroom and in bathroom
Bed height - too short or too tall?
Does the client need help getting in/out of the bed?
Command Central- area next to bed well within easy reach for essential items: light, TV control, drink, phone
