In this video Cindy demonstrates how to adjust the height of a Front Wheeled Walker. This also applies to the height of a Standard Walker.
Have the user stand up tall, relaxing at least one hand down at their side
Walker handles should hit them at wrist level
Adjust height by pushing pins in on the legs, moving the leg up or down to the correct height
Depending on the walker, the labeled numbers won't always match front to back or side to side, so adjust on number of holes
Check height once adjusted to make sure it is appropriate for the user
Most walkers have a push button of some sort on each side, which allows you to fold in the sides of the walker, making it easier to transport in the car
