An Introduction to Bath Tub Aids - Knee

Cindy is discussing several adaptive equipment options for use in the tub/shower after a knee replacement surgery.  Be sure to consult with your surgeon as to when you can return to getting into the shower.  We do not recommend the use of a shower chair in a tub shower unless you are able to safely step over the side of the tub.  If you choose to use a shower chair in your tub shower, please consult with Occupational or Physical Therapy for safety/instruction.

**Reminder: Knee replacements can typically still bend at the hip
